Join us for annual Movies in the Park(ing Lot)! We will have some social-distancing friendly pre-event fun before each film.
Parking will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. We ask that folks stay in their cars, unless they are walking to or from a restaurant or the restroom. This means, no setting up Spikeball Nets, or casually walking over to another row to say “Hi” to a friend.
The front rows will be reserved for compact cars and smaller SUV’s. To watch from an open car trunk or truck bed, you must park in the back half of the lot so at to not obstruct the view of others. You also must leave at least one parking space between yourself and other cars to maintain social distancing. Let’s keep everyone safe, while still enjoying the movie!
The VERY BACK ROW OF THE LOT will also be designated for sitting in lawn chairs outside of your car. However, you may not spread out. Lawn chairs must be kept within the width of your vehicle parking spot, which should be at least 1 spot away from other cars on either side. Groups sitting outside of their vehicles must be at least 10 feet away from any other group to maintain social distancing. Let’s keep everyone safe!
Emergency restrooms will be available. However, make plans to use the restroom at home before the movie.
Drive IN Etiquette and Tips:
Turn off headlights:
If you car doesn’t have the function, please turn off your vehicle, or bring a blanket to cover your lights.
Don’t idle engine if possible:
We want to keep our event as eco-friendly as possible. Plus, nobody wants to hear a loud noisy engine while trying to watch the movie.
ZERO Trash Event:
Plan to pack out all of your trash and dispose of it at home.
Consider bringing a portable radio:
If your car doesn’t have a great radio, an inexpensive portable radio is a great solution. Block Rockers are perfect!
Turn off Interior Car Lights
Don’t sit on top of your car:
This ruins the view for every single car behind you. However, if you park in the very back row, you are good to sit on top of your car.
